“David and I wanted to send our sincere thanks for your outstanding performances (yes 2!) at our wedding on Saturday at Llanerch Vineyard. From my first correspondence with you; you have nothing but passionate, easy to communicate with; and so enthusiastic about performing on our special day.

Considering you are so in demand and no doubt inundated with performance dates, you made us feel so special and we knew that we were not just “another wedding” but that you really wanted to make it amazing for us.

Julia, your voice is absolute exquisite. Our guests were captivated the moment the lyrics started leaving you with very many saying you sounded like an actual angel (I must agree). And the rest of the band, WOW!!! What showpeople you all are- I felt like I was in a movie with a Oscar worthy soundtrack.

We were lucky enough to have the 5 piece jazz band play in the afternoon as we had drinks and canapés on the lawn which was truly exceptional. I absolutely adore jazz, so for a band to play something so special to me, and so superbly, it really made my day! I do believe that the band set the tone for the rest of our day. Our guests were so happy, with many wanting to stay behind just a few more minutes while being called in for the wedding breakfast, just to hear the last of your performance. They didn’t stop smiling, singing or dancing for the rest of the evening- and I honestly believe that was due to you guys and the fun, yet relaxed atmosphere you created.

Then, the full evening band. My word!! If there’s one way to start a party- Brother Ray are the way to do it.

From learning and performing a very special song to us both (Tenerife Sea) for our first dance to the WHAM BAM moment; (Crazy in Love) mine and my Dad’s first dance. You certainly made your re-entrance!! The audience did not stop clapping, laughing and shaking their bootays! I can say that that was one moment in time I’ll never forget and the smile on my Dad’s face will stay etched in my memory forever (and his dance moves!

Our families are crazy for music (in general) but in particular, live music. Every single one said they have never heard a band like it!! Not only did you provide the best party we could have ever asked for, but you continuously checked in on us to make sure we were happy and that everything was going ok.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making our day a true fairy tale. I only wish we could do it all over again to continue to party with you guys!

If anyone is ever in doubt about the entertainment at their wedding, there are only 2 words I will say- BROTHER RAY!!
